World Cultural Festival Performance w/ Sahara Dance
Washington, DC - On the Mall
The weekend of September 29th and 30th, Sahara Dance will perform a masterpiece choreography by Jillina as part of the "Cultural Olympics", representing Middle Eastern dance on the global stage. Performance will be live streamed. Exact date/time TBD.
Fall 2023 Wellness Class

Tuesdays from Noon - 1pm
Get a gentle workout while learning the basic movements of Egyptian dance. Bellydance is a beautiful dance form that helps you connect with your body, improve posture, and build strength and flexibility. No previous experience necessary, and all body types and fitness levels are welcome. All movements will be broken down step-by-step with an emphasis on dancing and having fun.
120-01 Fundamentals of Modern Dance - Fall 2023

FREE. No experience required. In this class, you'll learn some quintessential Egyptian style movements, wrapped into fun, danceable combos. You'll leave class with a short choreography and a good workout. All levels welcome, adjustments made for more experienced dancers. Register for class on the Class Registration page. The ZOOM link to join class will be sent out approximately 1 hour before class to the email address you provide during registration.

Join Al-Anqa on ZOOM for a 30 minute SharQui workout on the 3rd Friday of each month at 6pm.
Registration by Donation. Once registered, you will be sent a confirmation email. The ZOOM link to join class will be sent out 15 minutes prior to your scheduled class time. Inspired by world fusion and Middle Eastern dance traditions, Jillina's BDExperience reimagines this classic tale, incorporating Oriental bellydance, Tribal Fusion and Folkloric dance to an original score by Paul Dinletir and featuring new music by Khader Ahmad. The Emerald City has never been quite this enchanting.
